Hemp Products: Pioneering Decarbonisation in the Built Environment and Beyond

Rare Earth Global is proud to be at the forefront of climate innovation, leveraging hemp’s transformative potential to drive sustainable supply chains and deliver decarbonised products.

Our participation in the University of North Carolina’s Clean Tech Summit in March 2024 highlighted hemp’s pivotal role in revolutionising the built environment. Sharing the stage with leaders from the U.S. Green Building Council to discuss hempcrete and co-founders of groundbreaking startups, we explored how our hemp products contribute to LEED-certified projects, the gold standard in green building programs.

As our CEO discussed with David Turk (picture inset), US Shadow Secretary of Energy, Hemp is a game-changer for the bio-economy, offering carbon-negative solutions for construction, manufacturing, and bioenergy. As a scalable, sustainable raw material, it aligns perfectly with the demand for decarbonised products that can reduce emissions across industries. From industrial applications to high-impact B2B marketplaces, hemp is paving the way for a sustainable future.

Our commitment to innovation extends to collaborations with top policymakers and investors. In March, we had the honour of presenting to senior officials from the White House and Pentagon, reinforcing hemp’s capacity to contribute to large-scale carbon removal. Selected as one of the leading climate tech companies, we also engaged with U.S. corporate, venture capital, and angel investors, gaining momentum for our mission to drive products capable of removing 1 gigatonne of CO2.

As Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, aptly noted, the bioeconomy represents the new industrial age—one that holds the potential to create trillion-dollar companies. At Rare Earth Global, we are excited to lead this transformation, delivering sustainable, carbon-negative solutions that redefine industries.

Join us in harnessing the power of hemp to decarbonise our world. Whether you’re building for the future or investing in sustainable supply chains, Rare Earth Global is here to create impact at scale. Together, we can make sustainability the cornerstone of tomorrow.
