Rare Earth is developing a hemp supply chain platform that delivers decarbonised products from the hemp plant to meet the needs of industry and consumers. We localise supply chains, combat deforestation and displace fossil fuels. We have secured demand for over 1 million tonnes of carbon neutral products to be delivered by 2030.
Our Products

Hemp feed is an alternative to soy based animal feed. It is made from the seeds of the plant. It is a complete protein containing all amino acids, easily digestible and produced locally (reducing costs to industrial fish farms).

Hemp pellets are an alternative to wood pellets and coal, used by biomass facilities globally to produce heat and electricity. It is made from the inner core of the hemp stalk. This carbon neutral pellet offers improved energy output.

Hempcrete is an alternative to concrete. It is made from the stalk of the hemp plant and a mixture of calcium hydroxide and pozzolana. Hempcrete demonstrates excellent insulating properties, heat resistance and provides significant energy savings in all climates.

We are working on projects to bring transport fuels and hemp biocomposites to market.
The Forgotten Crop
Hemp is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It captures 12 to 15 tonnes of CO2 per hectare, which is up to 8 times more efficient than trees.
