Mass Challenge: Harnessing BlueTech Innovation for a Sustainable Future
As 2024 drew to a close, Rare Earth Global proudly completed the prestigious BlueTech Program run by Boston-based MassChallenge. This transformative program, which champions advanced technologies and innovations within the marine and maritime sectors, aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver climate resilience through sustainable solutions.
Being selected as part of this exclusive cohort provided an incredible platform to showcase our expertise in decarbonised products, carbon-negative materials, and sustainable supply chains. Collaborating with esteemed organizations such as Louis Dreyfus Company, MITRE, Nabtesco, and BAE Systems was pivotal in driving the commercial uptake of our innovative hemp feed and other environmentally conscious products. These partnerships underscored the versatility and impact of hemp products in tackling environmental challenges while meeting industry needs.
The journey culminated in an inspiring investment demo day, supported by MassMutual, Putnam Investments, and others. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with stakeholders passionate about building a sustainable future.
Our CEO, Jamie Lewis, reflected on this milestone, sharing his personal connection to the ocean:
“The ocean has always had a special place in our hearts. Running a sailing business in the Balearic Islands taught me the power of nature, the need for adaptability, and the delicate balance of marine life. That experience drives my mission today – transforming aquaculture by replacing soy and fish meal with sustainable hemp protein – helping to protect the very ecosystems that first inspired me!”
At Rare Earth Global, we’re proud to lead the way in B2B marketplaces focused on delivering sustainable, climate-resilient solutions. Through programs like BlueTech and collaborations with industry leaders, we are shaping a future where nature and innovation thrive in harmony.
Join us as we revolutionise industries with hemp products and accelerate the transition to decarbonised and sustainable supply chains.
